When Thriving Is Your Goal

A child plays with colorful wooden blocks, building creative structures.

Jayne’s journey has been deeply shaped by her personal experiences. She has witnessed her three children each face their own set of challenges, including speech and language delays, social anxiety, selective mutism, ADHD symptoms, and sensory integration disorder. Through observing these struggles and seeing many others in similar situations, Jayne realized that traditional therapies often fell short. In some cases, these therapies weren’t the right fit at all. This realization sparked a deep desire in her to seek out alternative solutions. She became passionate about finding new, more effective approaches to support her children and others facing similar difficulties.

The most transformative lesson Jayne has learned is that it is possible to create new neural pathways and alter the way we interact with the world at any age. This discovery has been both relieving and empowering for her, and she is eager to share it with others. In addition to traditional speech and language therapy methods, Jayne incorporates neuro-developmental and reflex integration movements when appropriate. She guides individuals through gentle, relaxing exercises that stimulate new neural pathways, enhancing learning, emotional balance, and ease of movement.

Her quest for answers also led her to explore the connections between nutrition, neurological health, and overall development. Over the past 20 years, she has immersed herself in various movement-based learning modalities, including Rhythmic Movement Training, Brain Gym, Touch for Health, Eden Energy Medicine, and Bal-A-Vis-X. Through her studies, she discovered that movement is essential for brain maturation — a concept that neuro-physicists have long understood.

These techniques have proven to be effective in supporting individuals with ADHD, Autism, Anxiety, Selective Mutism, learning difficulties, sensory integration challenges, as well as behavioral and emotional imbalances. By incorporating these simple movements into daily routines, children can experience significant improvements in areas such as:

  • Speech and Language
  • Coordination
  • Focus
  • Reading
  • Memory
  • Social Skills
  • Organizational Skills
  • Behavior
  • Math
  • Writing
  • Sensory Processing

These profound changes are achievable at any age, and the process is often easier and quicker than many expect. Jayne is excited to offer a variety of therapeutic tools to her clients, ensuring the most efficient and effective course of treatment for those striving to thrive.
